Solar Tour 2008 – Day 6: The day started gray and rainy, so it was going to be a driving day. According the weather report we had to go all the way to the Provence to escape from the rain and clouds. It would have been nice to stay in this area a bit longer but it is just not nice in bad weather.

We decided to follow the route through the mountains from Thonon-les-Bains via Albertville and Grenoble towards Gap. The route wasn’t always easy but at least we saw some of the landscape and nature, like the Gorges de la Dranse along the D902.

For the night we stopped on a campground in Albertville, directly next to the river Arly.
