 Mushroom Pate vegan
   

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp. Oil
  • 1 small Onion, chopped
  • 1/2 Lb. Green Beans (or 1 lg. can)
  • 1 box Mushrooms
  • 1/4 c. Walnut meats
  • Salt, Pepper, & pinch of Sage
 


Description

Heat the oil and sauté the onions, add the green beans if fresh and mushrooms continue to sauté until all are soft. Remove from the heat and blend using a food processor or blender. Add walnuts and seasonings. Blend until smooth.
We use this as a spread for breads and whole-wheat rolls. It makes a lovely dip for raw veggies also.
