 Mushroom-Almond Pate


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sliced Almonds
  • 1 stick Butter or Margarine
  • 1 small Onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 clove Garlic (minced)
  • 200 grams Mushrooms, (chopped)
  • 3/4 Tbs. Salt
  • 1/2 tsp. Thyme
  • 1/8 Tbs. White Pepper
  • 2 Tbs. Olive Oil
 


Description

In a frying pan, toast the almonds until golden brown. Melt the butter, add the herbs and olive oil and sauté the mushrooms until the liquid is evaporated. Puree and serve on a bed of lettuce.
