Ingredients
- 200
g Flour
- 200
g Butter or margerine, softened
- 2 Tbs.
Curry powder
- Pinch
Salt
- 180
ml cold Water
- Filling
- 1/2
head Cabbage, finely sliced
- 200
g grated cheese (Swiss)
- 23Tbs
Olive Oil
- 2 -3Tbs
Garam masala
- 2 -3Tbs.
Hot Curry Powder
- Salt
and Pepper

Description
- Place
the flour in a bowl with a pinch of salt and curry powder
and cut the softened butter into it until there is a soft
crumbly mixture. Stir in the cold water and mix to for a
ball. Using a tablespoon full of dough form about 10 balls
and roll into circles.
- Preheat
the oven to 325 F and oil a cookie sheet.
- In
a frying pan warm the olive oil and spices to mix well.
Slice the cabbage very thinly and sauté. Cool and
add the grated cheese.
- In
the center of each circle of dough, fill 2 or 3 teaspoons
full of the cabbage/cheese mixture. Fold the circle in half
and seal with a fork. You may want to brush the dough with
oil for a glazed finish.
- Place
the pockets in the oven and bake for 15 min or until golden
brown.
