Description
- Beat
the egg yolks until lemon colored. Blend in the sweetened
condensed milk slowly.,
- Add
the lime juice and mix well
- Beat
the egg whites separately, add the cream of tartar and sugar
and continue beating until whites make peaks.
- Pour
the filling into the pie shell and top with the meringue
(egg white mixture)
- Bake
in a slow oven 330 (F) until golden brown.
